The Craft / Trade Test Certificate program was designed with your needs in mind. Like all our courses, you
can train full/part-time. This allows you to train for a new career from the comfort of our center, without
quitting your job if you are in full-time employment.
Collision repair technicians are knowledgeable in the field of auto body repair and possess the necessary skills to perform related repairs and custom refinishing according to the manufacturer’s specifications. Collision repair technicians fix damaged bodies or body parts of automotive vehicles such as cars, vans, trucks, etc. KVTC will equip the student with the required skills in the field.
Heavy Equipment Repair technicians install, maintain, and service large industrial machines and vehicles designed for activities such as transporting things, lifting material, and plowing earth. These technicians may be required to undergo several years of training in addition to acquiring knowledge through postsecondary certificate programs KVTC is making it easier for students to achieve their much-needed education.
Heavy equipment operator operates heavy equipment used in engineering and construction projects and currently we are training student in the following operation; Excavator operation, Dump truck operation and front end loader operation. Training period is Two (2) Months and minimum qualification is only grade 9
The Centre has a well-stocked clinic and a qualified nurse to offer medical services to our students to ensure that all students are cared for promptly and effectively.
As an auto electrician, you would fit and repair electrical and electronic systems in motor vehicles. As vehicles become more advanced, the amount of electronic systems in them is increasing. To be an auto electrician, you will need good practical skills. You will need good problem-solving skills, and that's where KVTC comes in to equip you. You will also need to be able to read electrical wiring plans.
